Timeline

The timeline sits under the canvas and keeps the scene in order. Two views show the same frames.

Simple is the classic frame strip: one row of frames, with add, blank, duplicate, and play on the bar above it. Advanced is the full timeline, with a row for each layer plus camera, background, effects, and sound. Choose Simple or Advanced on the startup screen, or toggle Advanced Timeline with Alt+X.
