Cameras

Webcams work in the free edition. Pick the webcam as the camera, then capture from its live view. Webcam options include manual focus and a setting to use MJPG when the camera supports it.

Canon EOS cameras are part of Motion Monster Studio. Connect the camera and choose it instead of the webcam. While that Canon session is open, focus and pick-focus controls show on the capture bar so you can set focus without leaving the workspace.

The rest of the capture bar — live view, the onion slider, and the capture button — is the same for both.
